Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)
At SHINE-Together, we’re proud to offer our members the opportunity to earn the Presidential Volunteer Service Award (PVSA). This prestigious award honors individuals whose service positively impacts their communities and inspires those around them to take action.
What is the PVSA?
The Presidential Volunteer Service Award is a national honor presented by the President of the United States to individuals, families, and groups who have demonstrated a sustained commitment to volunteerism. The award recognizes U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents who have achieved specific volunteer hour milestones over a 12-month period or during their lifetime.
Why is it important?
Receiving the PVSA is not only a recognition of the time and effort you've invested in your community but also a testament to your leadership and dedication to making a difference. The award inspires others to give back and strengthens the spirit of volunteerism nationwide.
